Artisan: Mahin Hussain

This colourful bag in bright tones of blue, emerald and pink is handmade using local leathers and textiles. It is the work of local designer Mahin Hussain and has been handcrafted by a team of artisans in a 50-year-old, family-owned workshop in Karachi, Pakistan.

For decades the business has focused on screen-printing by hand, but now also has a stitching unit made up of a small group of male artisans.
